Version 6.3 of Rektron SQC was released in the middle of November 2006 and contains amongst other the following new functions:
  • New customizable report format in SQC. With the use of Style sheets it is possible to customize how the report data (in XML format) should be presented. The reports are opened with a web browser and can then be distributed easily.
  • A new version of the Instruction generator called Instant Instruction. The field used by the Instruction Generator, Revision, Gauge, Inspection Method, Inspection Extend and Comments are stored as annotations (meta data) in SQC. The instructions are stored in the database can be opened in a web browser.
  • New annotation types: time, date, file path, Internet address and boolean yes/no.
  • New input controls for annotations: edit box, multi line edit, combo box, checkbox and time/date control.
  • New function for editing annotations for previous measure values.
  • Printout of measure values for a certain annotation in Rektron SQC.
  • Export/Import of a selection of articles/orders with Migration Tool to XML format.
  • Attribute study according to the 3rd edition of QS9000 standard is implemented in SQC MSA/Gage R&R AddOn.

  • Language support for asian and eastern european languages
  • Improved support for single sided (unilateral) tolerance
  • Improved support for the log-normal distribution
  • Possibility to delete measure values in the middle of an order and to exclude measure values from statistics
  • Possibility to add log book notations to previously entered measure values
  • New design of the the measure property dialog to handle the new tolerance and distribution functionality
  • Calculation of statistics is now performed within the database. This opens up for new possibilities to connect Rektron SQC to other systems.
  • Support for using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Server Express as database engine.

Version 6.0 of SQC was released 2005-12-16

  • Support for annotations when using manual gauges and manual input with Measure Value Annotation Add-on
  • MSA/Gage R&R for fixtures and measure machines (CMM) together with CMM Import Add-on
  • Improved DirectView Diagram Add-on, now with support for evaluating formulas, e.g. formulas for roundness measurements
  • Migration Tool for data transfer between data sources and databases
  • Crystal Reports as report generator in DARG
  • Common software solution that unifies the two previous versions for page handling (PHA) and without page handling (NPH)
  • A new central error logging function is now available in the system. It's possible to filter log messages on information, warnings or errors.
